Centra Emyvale had their official opening of their refurbished store on Saturday 10th March. It was a great day for the village and proud one for Glynn, Grainne and team. It was great to see so many families attend the opening and meet their county heroes, Ryan Mc Anespie, John Mc Carron, and Conor mc Manus and the of course the most sought after silver wear the Sam Maguire. Emyvale Juvenile club are very grateful to Glynn and Grainne for their continued sponsorship and they kindly presented a sponsorship cheque to our Juvenile club chairperson Martin O Brien on Saturday. Emyvale GAA wish Glynn, Grainne, family and team every success with their news refurbished store.
Monaghan GAA are organising their very popular Easter Camp again this year. The camp will take place, 3rd, 4th, 5th April in several venues. Scotstown is the venue closest to us. There is a free hoodie for all who take part. The three day course will be delivered by full time coaching staff, current county players and some guest coaches over the three days. If you wish to register your children, please book online on Monaghangaa.ie, or complete an application form and return to Monaghan training grounds, Cloghan.
Training continues every Saturday morning in Emyvale Leisure Centre for our U7 and U9 club members. U7 train from 10-11 and U9 train from 11-12. All new members welcome and parents are encouraged to stay to encourage their child during training. €1 per child to cover hall rental.
The U9 commenced their first round of the indoor league on Saturday morning in St Macartan's. Emyvale entered four teams in the blitz, seeing excellent numbers attend. It was a very well organised event and we look forward to the second round on 24th march at the same venue. Well done to all who participated.
U11 training will continue every Thursday evening Tully at 7pm to 8pm. Please bring gum shield and water.
U13 training next week will take place on Monday 19th & Wednesday 21st March 6pm in Tully, boots required. U13 Division 3 & Division 6 teams play against Sean Mc Dermotts & Inniskeen (B) on Saturday 24th March at 12pm & 2pm respectively, both games take place in Tully.
U15 training on Wednesday evenings in Tully at 6:45pm.
The McElroy Connelly Cup will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 2nd April in Tully, this is an U15 Tournament run on a Blitz basis. Keep the date free as help will be required on the day

Monaghan GAA will now be holding 2 child protection courses on Wed 14 March at 7pm and on Wed 21 March at 7pm. Please forward on names of people who wish to attend asap as places are limited.
Ceili : Our ceili and set were performing on Sunday last in Glenavey Co Antrim. IT was a great performance however we were unlucky not to get through and were by two mixed teams. We are back at the ulster final with the set yet again Saturday week 24th March in Silverbridge Co.Armagh.
