Aughnamullen club notes

Lotto: The Lotto resumed on Sunday night last in the Social Centre.  The numbers drawn out were 22, 12,19 & 7. There was 1 winner of our Jackpot of €3400 and the winner was Eola Rice Lattycrum.

AGM: The Annual General Meeting of the club was held in front of a large audience on Friday night last following mass for deceased members of our club.

 

There were comprehensive reports delivered by our officers Edel (Secretary) Mary B( Treasurer) Paddy ( Youth Officer) and club Chairman Dermot summarising our club achievements of 2017.

Well Done: Well done is extended to Michael Bannigan who performed well for our County Senior team in the recent Dr Mc Kenna Cup competiton that was played recently.

 

Congratulations: Congratulations is extended to Colm & Danielle Reyburn on the birth of a baby girl recently. Also congratulations to Alan Markey & Margaret Sheridan who celebrated 21st Birthdays recently.

 

Sympathy: Sympathy is extended to the Kelly family Magheracloone and Bannigan family Lisduff on the death of Rose Kelly Magheracloone.  Sympathy is also extended to the Hanna Family Tullynahinera on the death of William Hanna Oram.

 

Membership:  Membership is now due the cost is €30 for any non player and this can be paid to club Treasurer Mary B Hamill as soon as possible.

 

Booking of Fields: With teams commencing training shortly it is essential that the fields are booked through Groundsman Ian Johnston.  If you require any of the fields please contact Ian on 0877974423 thank you.

Voluntary Stewards: Monaghan GAA are organising a a voluntary stewards course on Friday the 2nd of Feb from 6.30pm till 9.30pm and on Saturday the 3rd of Feb from 9.30am-12.30pm in Cloghan. This is a free course where you will be fully trained and certified by Portabello College in Dublin. Foundation and Level 1 Coaching Courses Courses: There are a number of courses coming up in Cloghan in the next few weeks. Everybody involved or getting involved  in juvenile football must have foundation course and child protection course done. Foundation and child protection course on 19th and 20th of January or the 9th and 10th of February. There's also a level one football course on the 2nd3rd and 4th of February.
