Lotto:
The Corduff club Lotto resumed last Sunday 14th January 2018 with the draw live in The Mountain Dew. There was no winner of the Jackpot which was worth €5,000. The numbers drawn were 2,14,18 and 25.
Congratulations to the Lucky Dip winners Joe Culleton, Martin McCahey, Tom Fox, D,A & R Geoghagan and Maura Smith. Next week's draw takes place in John Joe's with a jackpot of €5,100.
Annual Membership and Lotto.
Annual membership for the 2018 season is new due. There are some fantastic packages available which include entry to all home games in Corduff and entry to the weekly lotto. You have an option of paying a standard / premium or family rate of €50 / €100 / €150 respectively. Add the yearly lotto to each of those rates and make one payment to be eligible for the special rates of Standard + lotto €200, Premium + lotto €260 and Family + lotto €300. This membership is due for payment now or at the latest at our next committee meeting on Monday 29th January at 8pm in The Heritage Room or by contacting any Committee member.
Gaelic Life All Stars Awards:
The Gaelic Life All-Stars Awards which celebrate all that is good about clubs in Ulster are in their 7th year and their biggest award night to date was held in The Hillgrove Hotel last Friday night with recipients across all 4 codes, mens's football, ladies football, hurling and camogie being recognised for their achievements in 2017. Following on from the wonderful success of Corduff Senior Ladies in 2017 the first ever Gaelic Life All Stars Awards were awarded to Corduff as both Laura McEnaney and Barbara Ward made it to the team of the year with Laura receiving her award for half back and Barbara for her midfield award. Congratulations ladies on your great achievement which was well deserved.
Stewards Training Course:
As a club, Corduff is extremely lucky to have so many volunteers who steward at matches and events to ensure they run smoothly and safely. To maintain a safe and secure environment Monaghan county board are committed to hosting this Stewards Training Course to ensure all venues across the county are safe and family friendly for all matches and events. Therefore, stewards need to be fully trained and certified.
The course will be run in two sessions over the weekend of 3rd/4th February with the first session on Friday 2nd February from 6:30pm - 9:30pm and the second session on the Saturday morning from 9:30 - 12:30. It is mandatory to attend both sessions to be certified. This course is accredited by The Portobello Colege,Dublin.

GAA League
Our GAA League team are home to Tydavnet on Wednesday at 7:30 for the 7th round of the league.
Juvenile Training
Training continues as normal for our juveniles in the Alley on Friday evening at 7pm for 9-13 year olds and 8:15pm for 14-18 year olds.New members are always welcome.
Singles League
We are giving everyone an extra week to get their games played. Sunday 21st is the final day for games.Semi finals will be played the following week. Please ensure you text Aidan Marron with the results after each game.
Monaghan County Championship
Best of luck to 20 of our members from Minor to Senior taking part in the county championship which started last week.
Quiz night.
Our Quiz night will be held in the Mountain Dew on Friday the 2nd of February at 9pm.€20 for a table of four with a top prize for the winning team. There will also be great prizes for the raffle on the night.
Scor:
The 2018 Scor season is upon us! Up first is the Quiz/Trath na gCeist which will be held on the 26th of January @ 9pm in The Four Seasons Hotel. This would be a good opportunity to put the general knowledge of the club to the test! Scor Sinsir / Senior Scor Quiz and Scor na nOg /Juvenile Scor Quiz will take place at the same time. High School Fun Run/Walk.
This 5k fun run / walk is this Sunday at 11am. This year they are offering a special rate for clubs in the area. An unlimited number of juveniles from a club can register for a special rate of €50 which is outstanding value.
They must be accompanied by at least onre adult for registration.
Season Tickets;
Now that Monaghan have exited the Bank Of Ireland McKenna Cup Competition the focus now switches to the National League which commences on Sunday 28th January when Monaghan play Mayo in Clones. Season tickets which include free access to all Monaghan League Football matches plus more are available to purchase on gaa.ie/seasonticket Terma and conditions apply.
