Sympathies

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of Paddy Murphy, Oriel Park. Paddy is a legend in our club having played during three decades & was part of the team that won the Junior Championship in 1959. I can still see him playing in the full back position & he had a fierce kick out. It was a brave forward that tried to get past him. When he retired from playing, he still played an active role in the administration part of the club & was a team mentor for many years. He still went to the matches with his team mate Packie Hughes. To his wife Frances, sons Gary, Jerome, Keith, daughter Jackie we offer our sincere sympathy. He was a true Emyvale gael & will always be remembered for his great contribution to our club.

Also to the death of Margret (Peggie) Corrigan, Emyvale, sons John, Frankie, Dennis, daughters Pauline, Ann, Cathleen, Geraldine we offer our sincere sympathy.

Juveniles:

Juvenile AGM will take place on Friday 17th November 2017 in the club-rooms at 8:00pm. All club members, parents, supporters and potential new members are invited to attend. Our club always needs new faces to bring forward new ideas and fresh thoughts so please come along.

Forde Cup

Forde Cup (Parish League) will commence on Sunday 19th November at 3pm and will continue for four weekends weather permitting. This is open to children from U-10 to U-7 so anyone interested in taking part please come along.

Junior League Final

We host the Junior League Final this Sunday @ 2pm. This is a replay of this year's Junior Championship Final so a good crowd expected. We will need all available hands on deck for stewards and parking. Please assemble @ Tully for 12:45pm.
