April 03, 2018

Sean Mulligan - Boardsmill/Rathmolyon

Boardsmill/Rathmolyon 4-11 Kildalkey 2-14

On a cold, wet evening in Longwood, both teams showed some fantastic skill and determination throughout.

Kildalkey got off to a good start and led at half time 1-10 to 1-7. Conall Bird, Ciaran Regan, Niall Bagnall and Sean Mulligan played well throughout and showed the necessary leadership to keep Boardsmill/Rathmolyon in touch.

A few changes were made at the break. Boardsmill/Rathmolyon keeper Ryan Douglas produced some excellent saves while the Roache brothers Jim and Eamonn provided a platform for victory with some outstanding defensive play.
