The numbers drawn in the Dunshaughlin GAA lotto were 4,24,25 & 27 and there was no match 3 or Jackpot winner.

Happy Birthday
A big Happy Birthday to Mr. Dunshaughlin GAA Patsy McLoughlin who turned 90 recently. 

Fixtures
Our Seniors open their Division 1 league campaign with a trip to Ashbourne on Saturday 27th. Throw in at 7pm.They then take on Na Fianna at home the following Saturday at 7pm.

Well Done Eamon
Meath LGFA will be playing their first game of the New Year on Sunday January 28th  with a brand new local sponsor,  Eamon Dunne's Farm House Foods. Speaking on the new sponsorship deal, Eamonn Dunne, Managing Director of Farmhouse Foods said "We are delighted to be involved with Meath Ladies Gaelic Football. I have seen the commitment which the players, management team and background team put in each day so I hope we can; in some way help them achieve their goals over the next year."

Well done to our own Niamh O'Sullivan who has been named Meath Ladies captain for the second year in a row.

Well Done Rachel
Congrats and well done to Rachel Huijsdens of Royal Gaels, Meath LGFA and Irish Basketball fame who on Friday night January 19th scooped the Meath Chronicle Young Sports Person of the Year award for 2017. In a very tough category Rachel was a popular winner. Rachel has been an integral part of her Royal Gaels and Meath Ladies Football panels for a few years now but she also has a gift for Basketball. In 2017 Rachel was part of the history making U18 Irish Basketball team that were narrowly pipped at the post in the FIBA Women's European Basketball Championship Final. The team also earned themselves promotion to the A Division. The first Irish BB team to do so! Rachel at 18 years of age has a staggering 43 International caps!
