This could be one of the most interesting intermediate championships in years. Over the last few years there has always been one team that is is above the rest EX ratoath and colmcilles. This year there is no real favourite and I'd say around 8 teams or more fancy there changes of winning the cup. Who do youse think are the favourites and outsiders. Walterstown, Curraha and St Michaels.

My favourites would be Walterstown and dunderry and my outsiders would be syddan if they can get there full team out with no injuries.

Any one of Trim, Curraha, Walterstown and Dunderry could do it. If I had to pick I'd go for Curraha, very open though! shldrs2thewheel (Meath) - Posts: 200 - 07/02/2017 15:08:36 1953310 Link 0 |
Would fancy Trim to be at the business end. Good mix of youth and experience. Irish_downunder (Meath) - Posts: 626 - 08/02/2017 12:49:03 1953602 Link 0 |
Yeah, but they would need a big step on on the performance against Dunderry last year.

Totally agree. I think there is a big mental problem in there in regards to they think against certain teams its a case of showing up.

What teams will be in trouble with relegation this year my picks would be Longwood, st ultans, ballivor and bective. Any thoughts? Meath4Sam2020 (Meath) - Posts: 131 - 10/02/2017 18:24:31 1954490 Link 0 |
if Ballivor could get all their players out they could be contenders.

Why is Rowe out for the year ?, I assume that means he won't be on the 21's ?
