What is the point in posting ANOTHER FIXTURE PLAN! They will continue to do what they always do and that is make it up as they go along.

Here lads the planner has not been that far off so far this year. The only thing is the success of the Hurlers in the County has caused change. The planner should be out as the fixtures meet on Tuesday night so it probably will be out by Friday.

Ah in fairness, based on whole year and not just the past two months, they have been all over the place. It has now been two weeks when they said in the next couple of days and still no sign of it. A joke in my opinion.

Come on point out where it went so askew other than the problem with the start and finish of Christy ring and the switch once u21 hurlers made final it has been pretty spot on.
The clubs were informed of last change when leagues came in for next weekend and championship now in 2 weeks and cccc said in dunganny that clubs had the info and now once the picture is clearer the plan be out in next day or two.

You can't seriously be saying that they've done a good job with the fixture. they've been a mess. clubs may have been told possible dates but there all subject to change. and as a player I know that pretty much every player would agree that it has been impossible to organise anything outside of football because you have no idea if you will be playing football that week.

this year has been different. christy ring replay.. plus minor and u21 all ireland for hurlers...

i genuinely believe that if the new meath football manager allows footballers back to their clubs in may for 2 weeks... and a week over the summer... the group stages could be over by mid august...

its a disgrae whats going on. meath footballers were not allowed play championship football in May at all... whole round called off. and for what? so they could beat louth? Meaths B team would beat Louth... and then we play dublin and try and keep the score down... its time the county board stood firm with meath senior football management

Ah come pat is right those things could not be planned for and anyway there is a championship free period from April to August to take whatever breaks you want. The plan was pretty ridig as to hurling and football weekends

Prime example was the month after the first round of championship where 2nd round could of easily been fixed as there was nothing on.

So the hurlers miss out on the football final too now. Wow that's very generous off the planner. sure just to be sure mark it down for a 3pm throw in.

But the 2nd round was played in may other than the games blocked by Christy ring. That was not changed on plan once the revised was realased and explained The plan was changed prior to that once Christy ring started early which resulted in only one round in April. And then most of round 2 in may.
