The County Board made a blunder last year, but they can make up for it by getting Andy McEntee in.it simply has to be done.He is available and a very good manager. ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 09/07/2016 17:42:18 1879073 Link 1 |
I disagree. Time should be taken. This is a massive decision that Meath county board NEED to get right. If they rush it, it could be a mistake. You have 5 months til the OB cup starts back, A decision isn't needed today or tomorrow. Just so long as (for Meath fans sake in anyways) they get the decision right it doesn't really matter when he is named. waynoI (Dublin) - Posts: 13650 - 09/07/2016 17:45:17 1879081 Link 1 |
yeah the right decision is the most important thing. We all know what that is...

I hope the appointment is given the thought it requires. The re-appointment of MOD last year was "slip shod" to say the least. It should be a matching exercise with job requirements identified on one side, and then candidates credentials listed to establish that candidate is fit for purpose. No room for politics. We should learn from mistakes, therefore preferably the job of selecting the right person should have a fresh approach conducted by a new selection panel. The 3 wise men seem to fit perfectly for that job. Am i missing something? Then again there may not be many runners in this race. Should not prevent us not trying to do the job correctly

He might have better things to do. Who knows. Maybe he just wont want it.

Make the right decision but do not put it on the long finger. Next January is not the time for a new manager to be starting afresh. Why waste six months that could be put to good use. GlasagusOr (Meath) - Posts: 1348 - 09/07/2016 18:22:27 1879155 Link 0 |
