People alreadyou hung up on McEntire.

I fear if they don't get their man then it's just going to be another wipe out with the knives out once they lose.

Whoever it is.. I just hope they instill heart, courage passion and style. Will tip my hat to Meath team going down fighting for 10 years before I look at another 10 seconds of what the County has subjected to over the last 4 years

The County Board made a blunder last year, but they can make up for it by getting Andy McEntee in.it simply has to be done.He is available and a very good manager.

I disagree.

Time should be taken.

This is a massive decision that Meath county board NEED to get right.

If they rush it, it could be a mistake.

You have 5 months til the OB cup starts back, A decision isn't needed today or tomorrow. Just so long as (for Meath fans sake in anyways) they get the decision right it doesn't really matter when he is named.

I hope the appointment is given the thought it requires. The re-appointment of MOD last year was "slip shod" to say the least. It should be a matching exercise with job requirements identified on one side, and then candidates credentials listed to establish that candidate is fit for purpose. No room for politics. We should learn from mistakes, therefore preferably the job of selecting the right person should have a fresh approach conducted by a new selection panel. The 3 wise men seem to fit perfectly for that job. Am i missing something? Then again there may not be many runners in this race. Should not prevent us not trying to do the job correctly

I doubt it will happen again but if boden go an All Ireland run again Andy won't be available.

Anyway as Waynol mentioned a decision doesn't have to be made today or tomorrow.

He might have better things to do. Who knows. Maybe he just wont want it.

Make the right decision but do not put it on the long finger. Next January is not the time for a new manager to be starting afresh. Why waste six months that could be put to good use.
