Should be too good for Wicklow, by 7+ I'd say. Best of luck to Willie and all the lads! moylagh (Meath) - Posts: 484 - 01/05/2015 12:35:37 1719459 Link 0 |
Lads don't be getting carried away now and I believe we will beat Wicklow but it will be tight. Don't forget we hammered Wicklow last year in the Keogh cup only for then to beat us easily in the first round of the league. A wet day like today throws everything up in the air. It's good to see Micky Burke out in the middle huge boost for us. Toher back in at 6 is no harm and bird at full forward is a strange one has been good in goals all year. It's a pity the likes of tispin and all aren't available this year due to injuries but hopefully he can get out for the club over the year. A win is vital today so hopefully we get a good crowd in trim for the game and we push on to what will be a hard fought victory. P.s if we win easily I'll be delighted too butterfly (Meath) - Posts: 112 - 02/05/2015 09:13:34 1719616 Link 0 |

Who do Meath play in Quarter Final?? Playing well lately so surely have a good chance to progress to semi. Redman7 (Meath) - Posts: 81 - 15/05/2015 14:51:19 1724024 Link 0 |
They play next weekend against the winner of Mayo and Kildare Belt (Meath) - Posts: 253 - 15/05/2015 16:44:52 1724088 Link 0 |
Don't think that draw has been made yet belt. More than likely be facing either kildare, down or derry. Be hoping for down and derry at home if we draw them, terrible places to travel. Meaths recent record travelling up north isn't great either begining (UK) - Posts: 300 - 16/05/2015 11:22:14 1724175 Link 0 |
So, it's Kildare in Trim on Sat. At the moment, we don't have a good record against the Lillies. Our lads have improved and this should be a close game, home advantage to count for something and Meath to win by 2-4. moylagh (Meath) - Posts: 484 - 19/05/2015 09:38:05 1725303 Link 0 |
meath have improved since league final and Kildare have really struggled. overthehill72 (Meath) - Posts: 334 - 19/05/2015 11:07:55 1725354 Link 0 |

Huge crowd in trim today for the game. 9 points flatters kildare a bit. Don't know if fitness was an issue but meath seemed to die off at the end of each half after staring both halves very well. Seems to be same story each year, league final defeat and christy ring semi/quarter final exit. Potential is definately there to get over the line, hopefully our fortunes change next year begining (UK) - Posts: 300 - 23/05/2015 17:16:17 1727424 Link 0 |
