Is it just me or do the Minor Leagues appear to be disjointed?

That is down to some teams not playing without county players and explains why Dunboyne have played 5 and Summerhill have played 3

I looked at Divisions there seems to be 1 back match in Division 1 that is now fixed......... another 1 in Division 4 ............with no result in for another Div 4 which I presume was not played. Div 5 seems a bit of a mess with teams pulling out.... I suppose the reason for no games last few weeks is Adult Championship.. All in all dont seem to bad to me

Every year there always seems to be issues. Should be finished up in a few weeks though. Seems to be a number of clubs good enough to win minor this year. Strange some clubs decided to remain in division 2 while there are only 7 teams in division 1, doesn't make sense. Perhaps county board should have laid down a marker here and made 8 teams compete in the top division as is the norm.

Bit strange that Summerhill gave St Colmcilles a W/O after the final round had been played first .....

I find it a bit strange that in Division 1, Tones play Ashbourne (who finished 1st and 2nd) and that in Division 3 Seneschalstown (2nd) play Na Fianna (3rd). Normally it would be first v fourth and second v third. Can anyone explain why this is not the case in Divisions 1 and 4??

Maybe because tesms were trying to manipulate the semi pairings to suit themselves ?

The Great Glenny decided to investgate this. It appears on Meath Web page the Division 1 the Walk over was given on 27th some days before the last round. 3 teams ended on same points and no other side could have made semis no matter what happened. Div 4 looks fine to me 1v4 and 2v3.

Glenny if Summerhill had have beaten Colmcilles then Dunboyne would have got a semi on points difference. And the walkover was given after the final round. And giving a walkover in a minor division 1 league is an absolute joke

Wrong Leitrimroyal. Cilles would have been equal on points with Dunboyne alright. But it goes on head to head first.St colmcilles beat Dunboyne in round 1. Summerhill have been chopping and changing fixtures all along. A walkover was bound to catch up with them.

Kepak 10 your spot on, I think from u.16 up it goes on head to head. Strange Summerhill could'nt fulfill the fixture. I know they had a back match to play with Navan as well only a few weeks back. Looks like the 4 best teams in the semi final anyway. Summerhill v Wolfe Tones final?

are these the top 4 teams in this division ? I thought dunboyne were up there . . cilles look strong as usual and not sure if ashbourne are any good . . summerhill have no hope up here with these teams . . and wolfe tones are the favs I feel going into this as they have two senior starters on a very good wolfe tones senior team!

Dunboyne are always strong and will be better as the season goes on. Slow start to the campaign cost them a semi final place and could easily have gone on to win it again. Surprised you are writing of summerhills challenge, they also have a number of lads starting on their first senior 15 and 3/4 lads involved with the county minors

Summerhill are strongest team in it but have shown weakness by being afraid to play Cilles, looks like their pact backfired

Summerhill are a very good team, they won the U16 2 years ago and have quality all over the field, 3 Meath Minors and another handful close to the standard, the 3 lads are playing senior with Summerhill. They will beat Cilles with ease.
