Not a bad team Ziggy, I would accept Keogan back in the corner in Reilly was at 6, also I don't want to scapegoat POR but I'd look seriously into dropping him for a bit to see if he's willing to fight for his place.

Ziggy id be more inclined to drop, Dalton, Newman and maybe por than those you have dropped, Flanagan did well today, if Tobin was a black card then the guy that took out biggy should have got straight red, id start Sean Curran fir frees don't know if bray will be back for sat either.
How do we keep loosing games we should be winning?

RD

Sean Curran is not on the panel..

Who would you play instead of Newman? Not sure if we have a better keeper than POR

Very disappointing coming back from Roscommon watching us throw another game away especially this year as it relatively easy to get promoted this year with no real tough teams in division 2, we still have a chance of we beat Meath and Cavan but a lot of poor decision making today, including POR, Mickey Burke, at one stage Eamon Wallace kicked a ball into Mickey Newman who was the only Meath forward in there, sorounded by 4 Roscommon backs, like there was no hope of Mickey getting the better of 4, a lot of wides by Meath.
Stephen Bray was missed, hope he gets back soon. Great to see Kevin R, SOR and Gillespie back.

Ziggy, Meath had quite a few attacks down the right wing and a fair amount of ball went into David Bray first half. I feel if Sean Tobin started today he would have been that bit sharper. David kicked one and missed one free from the RHS. Sean Tobin is probably our best freetaker, wide on the RHS. He would have had half a dozen opportunities today for scores.

Just looked at the table,if we lose in Down next week,we are in a serious relegation battle,we haven't done very well against Cavan lately. Two defeats will likely put us down to dv3.

Ill give a approximate team

1, , needs to sort his kickouts out, also no more coming up for 45s
2,Keoghan, best no2 in ire, play him here
3,McGill, has earned it
4,d Tobin, lets see what happens
5, burke worth a start great work rate
6, k Reilly, another lets see what happens
7, menton , hopefully knock cleared up
8 ,Gillespie,
9 Flanagan, if not working out Rooney to replace
10, biggy
11, harnan
12, Wallace
13, s Tobin
14 sor
15 s bray. If fit.

Subs , judge, McMahon Newman, Carroll (if still on panel) Rooney, think a few lads need a bit of a wake up call and this just might do it.

Micko raging at the ref???? What about the 10 wides plus balls short? problems are closer to home than blaming the ref.
