Not sure but word is that clubs will be expected to play the entire minor league without their county players, if this is true then is it very unfair on the clubs and all the other players. Way too much power and abuse thereof been applied by county management teams

Meath had the game won by half time to be honest,Louth rallied at times in the second half.

Players I would pick out who impressed me were Ronan Ryan,Adam Carey,Ronan Jones,Conor Nash,Tomas O Reilly and Padraig McGowan.

Very strong lineout. That can't be too far away from championship team.
One question though ........How come there are no players from the 2014 U17 Div 1 champions (st Colmcilles) on the first 15 ?
Were there any on the subs ?

To be honest it would have been a bigger score had Meath not replaced some of their best players early and mid-way through the second half..

Yes that was OShea putting his best foot forward, Today I hear only 2 players retain their place on the team so this will be a big test for the panel, Longford have always been a sticky wicket for Meath and it is hard to call this game. An aside is that after a long number of years this year we have a decent manager who will get the best out of the players
