Will the venture of a stadium near the M50 be to the detriment of the Development of Pairc Tailteann? sob (Meath) - Posts: 492 - 02/12/2014 15:04:16 1675995 Link 0 |
He hasn't a clue. Spend 100M on this 40k when we have a 40k in Dublin already. It's called Croker with the upper tiers closed. Jack_Goff (Meath) - Posts: 2920 - 02/12/2014 17:17:32 1676046 Link 0 |
I think it's a crazy decision to be honest and it's very disrespectful to the surrounding counties (Kildare, Louth, Meath and Wicklow) who all have complete kips of stadiums that need urgent redevelopment, which is no coincidence considering we're all so near to Croker. the plan for this would be to remove Kildare and Meath from their own home grounds and play there instead. This will be the end of Gaelic Football as a spectator sport in our counties. They are literally trying to make us play our 'home' games in Dublin. RoyalBadger (Meath) - Posts: 571 - 03/12/2014 11:00:41 1676225 Link 0 |
I think the idead is plain ludicrous.. why dont the GAA pump that money into re development of the grounds around Dublin, Like Navan, Newbridge etc instead of some harebrained idea that beggars belief!! sob (Meath) - Posts: 492 - 03/12/2014 16:43:31 1676374 Link 0 |

Does anyone know if Pairc Tailteann was mentioned in any shape or form at Convention?? I'm sure some delegates would have raised the issue if it wasn't talked about...... Richieq (Meath) - Posts: 3734 - 03/12/2014 18:29:17 1676409 Link 0 |
