I see Michael Ahern is going to play football with Clare? What do you think? It will be a blow to his club Dunshaughlin as he'll probably miss most of the A League? He must have a strong connection with Clare as they won't be winning anything in football. Does anyone know if he plays hurling?

Father is a clareman supposedly. Fair play to him, never really got a look in for meath, so has decided to try for clare footballers. they are the improving team in munster and I wish him all the best.

Clare are a decent outfit, Tubridy an excellent forward and Gary Brennan midfield,
Podge Collins to play football only next year, very good player, the addition of Burke from kilmacud a help too.
