Ballinlough and Kiltale enter the Leinster fray at the weekend, see fixtures below. Best of luck to both teams. I've no clue on the opposition but I do know both just won their county championships the other day. Same draws as last year except for junior. Cortown play the winners of Courtwood (Laois JFC champions) and Maudlintown (Wexford IFC B champions). One thing's for sure, Cortown will be hard bet. Toney (Meath) - Posts: 298 - 24/10/2014 12:46:02 1666824 Link 0 |
Well done to Ballinlough and Kiltale on their first round victories. Also congrats to Dee Rangers ladies and Kilmessan camogs on their Leinster final wins yesterday. A clean sweep for the Royal County. Toney (Meath) - Posts: 298 - 27/10/2014 15:35:54 1667493 Link 0 |

Decent chance for O'Mahony's to progress in the competition this year. On the opposite side of the draw to St. Vincent's, Portlaoise and Garrycastle who I would class as the big guns. MarkMyWords (Meath) - Posts: 498 - 28/10/2014 13:28:35 1667738 Link 0 |
i agree with markmywords but we also think its a decent chance for rhode to progress as we avoided the big guns in vincents and portlaoise rhoderunner88 (Offaly) - Posts: 134 - 29/10/2014 15:32:52 1668096 Link 0 |
Rhode will progress in this one, this is a NOM team without Kevin Reilly and Rhode forwards will have to much fire power for them,Rhode by 4-5 points. thelutch (Meath) - Posts: 1047 - 29/10/2014 16:03:24 1668107 Link 0 |
After the heavy loss to Killoe two years ago, O'Mahonys will be eager to redeem themselves. Kevin Reilly is a huge loss. McKeigue v McNamee will be one to watch. Toney (Meath) - Posts: 298 - 29/10/2014 17:27:39 1668130 Link 0 |
Meath teams struggle in Leinster because they get no momentum. The last time a Meath club won two in a row? Was it Dunshaughlin?? They progressed after winning three in a row.Often in Meath teams are just happy enough to win the county champ.Rhode are well used to winning in Offaly, and would often have one eye on the Leinster series. ziggy320001 (Meath) - Posts: 2432 - 29/10/2014 17:32:36 1668133 Link 0 |

yeah we actually played against raheen earlier in the year.bet us by 17 points.very good side big and physical.centre back is very good and loves to go forward carrying the ball.two corner forwards are very good too,one lad(kind of skinhead) only young and can kick big points off both feet, lightening quick too rhoderunner88 (Offaly) - Posts: 134 - 30/10/2014 13:33:41 1668335 Link 0 |
So Raheen beat Rhode by 17 points??? ziggy320001 (Meath) - Posts: 2432 - 30/10/2014 13:43:43 1668341 Link 0 |
Just a slight bit of exaggeration there RhodeRunner, is it Kerry or Raheen you are on about. I suspect Raheen will be in for a rude awakening on Sunday. RoylerKing (Meath) - Posts: 809 - 30/10/2014 15:15:32 1668386 Link 0 |
id imagine he means rhodes 2nd team who are intermediate thelutch (Meath) - Posts: 1047 - 30/10/2014 17:19:00 1668443 Link 0 |
RoylerKing it's Rhode's second string he is talking about. I think Raheen will be a step above Ballyfin. Toney (Meath) - Posts: 298 - 30/10/2014 17:37:34 1668447 Link 0 |
Ballinlough will progress in this one, intermediate in offaly is very poor standard. thelutch (Meath) - Posts: 1047 - 30/10/2014 17:59:44 1668453 Link 0 |
Without knowing too much about Raheen,I reckon Ballinlough will win, they are playing with a lot of confidence, and have forgotten hot to lose! :) ziggy320001 (Meath) - Posts: 2432 - 31/10/2014 09:40:47 1668562 Link 0 |
