What a weekend coming up lots of games lots of crack lots of moans lots of cheers plenty of was ifs and more of thats how it goes
FridaSFC quarter-final
Donaghmore/Ashbourne v Duleek-Bellewstown
This could be tighter than some people think Duleek are not a bad side, Don/Ash have yet to prove to people that they have what it takes, 2 years ago they looked close to doing that but fell apart when the pressure came, If they get over this test they will be real contenders. Against Rathkenny and St Pats they did not look like that but they still won. I think they will have enough to take another step
JFC rel
Kilbride v Boardsmill; Boardsmill are a yo yo team and that may continue Kilbride are not really good enough for Junior A but are proud enough to stay there the drop to Junior B is a horrible one just ask Moynalty. Kilbride to pull out the stops and Boardsmill will then play Dunsany before they yo yo again
Saturday 13 September
SFC
Summerhill v Wolfe Tones; Game of the weekend end Tones are unbeaten Summerhill are doing what they did last year coming at the right time. They feel they have everyone again them and they feel they are good enough to do the double. I think last weeks game will stand to them and like last year they when they beat OMahonys at this stage will take down the 100% side
Simonstown v Na Fianna; Last year Na Fianna ate Simonstown alive but the South Meath lads are not the suprise or indeed the team they where while Simonstown are in better shape. This will tie with Summerhill v Tones for game of the day and this time I think Simonstown might nick it
SFC rel
Rathkenny v Oldcastle; Oldcastle to keep their 100% record and lose again
IFC
Syddan v Ratoath; Navan should suit Ratoath although Syddan have some youth on there side, Syddan won the Corn na Boinne game at the same venue each side getting 4 goals. There will be plenty of goals again and that may suit Syddan but Ratoath have too many aces
Ballivor v Ballinabrackey; A real battle here Bracks have lifted themselves with a change of manager and have a real tough win over Longwood behind, Ballivor rested lads and with Kildalkey going well that will effect them. On that basis Bracks to spring a suprise
JFC C final replay
Blackhall Gaels v St Patrick's ; Sullivan be a loss to Pats and Black to win
AFL Division 4 final
Longwood v St Mary's Longwood easy enough

ashbourne v Duleek ---- ashbourne by the minimum
NOM v Skryne ------ Skryne to cause a shock!!!!
Tones v Summerhill--- Tones seem to have hit form
Na Fianna v Simonstown... BEST game of weekend.... very hard to predict, na fianna bag a lot of goals, but simonstown have been cruising this year, I reckon it will be a repeat of last years result and na fianna will put them to the sword...

Sunday 14 September
O'Mahonys v Skryne; Cant see anything other than an OMahonys win but we have taut and said that before and where wrong, Skryne always a bit of a bogey team and Kevin Reilly I hear is out for 12 months, Still Navan won Keegan before without him and could do so again
IFC
Dunderry v Ballinlough; This is another serious battle the tight pitch will suit both although Ballinlough got well bet there already this year. Dunderry may have an edge but the form is with the Lough they are now Div 1 and Dunderry Div 3 and I will go with the League form and Ballinlough
Castletown v St Colmcilles; Pity these games are at the same time wont bother either, Can the Cilles finally do something other than flop, They where hot favourites last year v Michaels and got turned over can it happen again Castletown are better than Mikes and so will win
IFC Rel
Nobber v Carnaross; Nobber on the brink Carnaross are always on the edge Nobber I said people say are too good to go down, Dangerous talk, but they wont drop will they No they will win and Kilmainham be sweating again
JFC
Cortown v Clonard; Clonard have done great to get this far but this will be a mighty stumbling block, both sides have good form and thats important at this time of year. Cortown have interduced some youth and that will stand them they should win
Simonstown v St Peter's, Dunboyne; Simonstown are another on a run but Dunboyne after their hic cup v Dunsany have powered on and will be best here. They are my favourites for outright glory

Seamus Connolly JFC B semi-finals
Duleek-Bellewstown v Seneschalstown; This will be a fair test Sen struggled over Slane Duleek are good too good to have been relegated last year and will bounce back to Junior A as Seneschalstown flatter to decieve at all grades again this year
St Vincents v Wolfe Tones; Tones suprised Moynalty and will cause another suprise here

ashbourne v Duleek ---- ashbourne by 4, one of the most impressive sides and a real contender fornKeegan cup.
NOM v Skryne ------ NOM by 5 but Skyrne will put it up to them for most of the game.
Tones v Summerhill--- Tones very hard to beat this year, might shade it by 1 or 2.
Na Fianna v Simonstown... Simonstown a serious outfit this year and my pick to win the Championship, Na Fianna not setting the world alight, Simonstown by 2.

Na Fianna deserving winners over Simonstown. Game was won at midfield where Na Fianna dominated . Wolfe Tones easy winners over Summerhill. The hill badly missed Gillespie at midfield.

Hard to believe Shane O Rouke is meath first choice midfielder and couldn't compete with Queeney and Lewis in a club game. I am really not sure what the problem is. Should Quenney be playing for meath or should meath have a better midfield.

Martin Doran won't be stopped? Good god he was. Went to that match yesterday fully expecting Ballivor to walk it the way people were talking on this. Ballinabrackey looked ferocious yesterday, very very impressive defending and attacking. With 10 minutes to go it was like Ballivor simply gave up, the Bracks could have won by 20 points if it wasn't for poor finishing

Neutral at the syddan ratoath game, syddan couldn't close the game out in the last 15 mins they were 7 points up. But credit to ratoath I've never seen a team as fit as them in a long time from start to finish, even in extra time they were in5th gear and could of played on at that intensity , county players weren't even the fittest, syddan were on their feet after 40mins. Great character to come back and bench helped also very good subs made

Summerhill - playing 2 u17 players , where have their backs gone ? Tonnes were well in control the hole game

Hard to stop tones now
