Killyon v Wolfe Tones final, Killyon to win it out. Redman7 (Meath) - Posts: 81 - 15/08/2014 11:03:25 1637128 Link 0 |
I see dunderry and longwood had the same score difference but longwood went through because they scored more. Just wondering is this the case in all grades or just junior 2 hurling. sam1996 (Meath) - Posts: 436 - 15/08/2014 11:15:32 1637137 Link 0 |

Oh yes........... the rule is two teams finish level then it goes on head to head............if they drew the head to head then score difference..... if that the same then highest scores for.....Its a GAA Rule not something taut up specially for Junior 2... Come on now..... glenny (Meath) - Posts: 1108 - 16/08/2014 14:03:44 1637591 Link 0 |
So will longwood beat wolf tones ? And will killyon beat drumree? Could be a Darby with killyon and rivals longwood in final any thoughts ??? Thejersey (Meath) - Posts: 43 - 19/08/2014 10:38:59 1638733 Link 0 |

Killyon won by 10. Hurled drumree off the pitch in the second half. Wolf tones by a goal. Foley91 (Meath) - Posts: 418 - 24/08/2014 19:26:42 1641330 Link 0 |
Did Killyon not win it 2 years ago, how are they back down already? CastleBravo (Meath) - Posts: 1643 - 24/08/2014 19:57:55 1641362 Link 0 |
Don't think killyon entered a team at junior A last year don't recall them playing Royalace (Meath) - Posts: 121 - 24/08/2014 20:34:32 1641390 Link 0 |
Looks like Killyon are looking for a handy Medal. Won this comp 2 years ago and now back in the final. This comp was introduced for the weaker clubs. Not the likes of Killyon Kilmessan or Trim. Once again the county board have slipped up in allowing this to happen. When they win the final it will mean nothing to them as they know they were in the wrong comp. latouche25 (Meath) - Posts: 520 - 25/08/2014 12:26:52 1641617 Link 0 |
Sound more like someone has sour grapes latouch any medal that is won means something don't be so petty killyon is a small club and not a big club like trim dunboyne etc and struggle to field two teams best of luck to killyon in the final. Wont be heading to Boardsmill on Saturday as I will be in the Pairc but I still wouldnt knock the J2HC. Interested to see what the outcome of the Killyon / Tones final. Me thinks it will be a Killyon victory by some ease. Shivermetimber (Meath) - Posts: 124 - 18/09/2014 17:29:19 1653548 Link 0 |

That's an interesting appraisal of the final. You must be togging out in the tones colours to draw that opinion. Can't see anything but a killyon victory. Hope you play well!! Shivermetimber (Meath) - Posts: 124 - 19/09/2014 20:56:40 1654088 Link 0 |
Killyon totally outclassed this very poor and ill equipped lack of hurling Tones team. Shivermetimber (Meath) - Posts: 124 - 20/09/2014 19:35:32 1654307 Link 0 |
