The same question seems to get asked every year, so it might as well be me who asks it this time around - Does anyone out there have the slightest idea when the minor championship is due to start. I have searched all the planners on the county board website, and there is no mention of it anywhere. no.123 (Meath) - Posts: 18 - 12/08/2014 17:52:49 1635857 Link 0 |

Seneschalstown will win Div 2 , they are too good to be even in that division, they are the backbone of the Junior B side that should wrap up another championship this weekend, Dunboyne could be tested by skryne and Walterstown should be good enough for Div 3 , not sure about the rest cowardlyasafox (Meath) - Posts: 209 - 25/09/2014 12:15:14 1656875 Link 0 |
I could say the same about the Tones! They have a couple of minors playing for their junior b side and they are far to good to be in division 2! They lost the division 2 league final earlier in the year and should win it this time round! They have a couple of young prospects who I wouldn't be surprised to see on meath minors next year! Killary will walk Div 3 no doubt about it glenny (Meath) - Posts: 1108 - 28/09/2014 20:57:05 1657832 Link 0 |
Gotta Agree glenny . Killary Emmets should end up in the business end of the year ( Div 3 final ) , though walking it is a phrase one should always steer clear off . Chaisleain_Abu (Meath) - Posts: 220 - 29/09/2014 15:37:08 1658156 Link 0 |
Especially with Rowe on top form. Forglory (Meath) - Posts: 85 - 29/09/2014 16:09:57 1658174 Link 0 |
I am sure Walterstown, Bective/Dunsany, Rathkenny and St Pats will have a say in who walks it. Rowe is quality but them teams are no ducks. Footballonly (Meath) - Posts: 128 - 29/09/2014 18:25:26 1658260 Link 0 |
The stroll has started........ Killary 6-19 Walterstown 2-8...... Roe 3-16 all from play....... glenny (Meath) - Posts: 1108 - 29/09/2014 20:34:22 1658316 Link 0 |
Division 1 will be contested tightly with Dunboyne and Summerhill two of these teams look like strong outfits. and division two looks like curragha after beating the favourites trim. dublinboy (Dublin) - Posts: 23 - 30/09/2014 13:55:26 1658580 Link 0 |
Division 2 is not as one sided as everybody thinks I think na fianna could do well and st.Michaels are also a strong outfit username_12345 (Meath) - Posts: 1 - 13/10/2014 10:21:55 1663074 Link 0 |

It's going to be a Dunboyne Summerhill final, it was always going to be that way Meathgaa5 (Meath) - Posts: 339 - 14/10/2014 20:36:37 1663742 Link 0 |
From the games I have seen so far Dunboyne will win Division 1. Summerhill are decent but do not have enough to beat them. People saying skryne are mad. Young skilful team but too many weak links. Footballonly (Meath) - Posts: 128 - 15/10/2014 20:42:37 1664128 Link 0 |
Division 1 title will match up to Dunboyne and Summerhill two of the strongest teams in the championship. From a lot of observation through the last few weeks I think Dunboyne will take everything as they have no weak points in there 15 man team. Summerhill are not on form just yet making there championship dreams look slim. maybe next year could be their year. Also a disadvantage for Dunboyne is there non productive forward line, they show to be sloppy and inaccurate mostly pointing towards their full forward line. dublinboy (Dublin) - Posts: 23 - 16/10/2014 13:05:23 1664241 Link 0 |
