So after the draws last night what do lads think? Think group 'A' is the weakest myself is it the same last year 3rd in group 'B' and 'C' in play off 4 quater final spot

Yes same format as last year. Group C is the hardest in my opinion. Moynalvey would be the weakest I think but on their day could beat any of the teams in the group, Especially if C O Sullivan and P Harnon improving so much. Will Don/Ash fulfill some potential this year? I think this group will be very exciting.

Think NOM will win it this year but I think the dark horses could be done/ash and seneschalstown

moynalvey will have something to prove this year after the hammering given to them by na fianna i think on a good day moynalvey could give the likes of summerhill and na fianna a good game i say it could be na fianna year or maybe o'mahonys

Its hard to say at the start of the year because anything can happen in club championship football.
i think myself that nom and summerhill are slightly ahead of the rest.
when you look at the core of both sides they are the wright age and also have a lot of experience.
The reason their both at the top of the line is simply youth coming through.
Most of the two teams have 2 or 3 u21 championships and 2 or 3 minor champs.
I think ashbourne have a good outside chance but they might need another year or two.

Will be interesting to see how Rathkenny and Na Fianna get on this year, Rathkenny had a good year last year and Meade was a huge loss against us, would have been interesting to see how they would hav egotten on if he wasnt injured. NA Fianna , can they reproduce the form from last year or has the surprise factor worn off?

Thinks its another close call for outright honors, Think ourselves and NOM are slightly ahead of the pack.Donaghmore were no where last year which leads me to believe if they get a strong manager in place they will do well. . Sean Kelly was a huge loss for them when he went. Relegations will be between Dunshaughlin and Oldcastle . . Dunshaughlin are only a shadow of the team they once and oldcastle only stayed up by default

Find myself in agreement with previous poster. think Summerhill and NOM are a wee bit ahead. However NOM are perennial favourites and don't deliver and its very hard to retain a title. Will be interesting one for sure. Oldcastle to go down but on their day they can really put it up to teams. Very difficult to call

I think there is a great mix in all the groups this year, sadly i think my own club Walterstown have been dealt a bad hand, coupled with loosing a few key lads could mean Jinxy is booking the holidays for June. As above Oldcastle, Dunshaughlin, Kells will be scrapping it out too.

Favs this year are surely Summerhill, NOM as usual in the mix with Na Fianna not far away. Have a sneaky feeling for Simonstown to make the last 4.

More of a hurling man myself now but I reckon ashbourne, o'mahonys, summerhill will have to be the main contenders. Na fianna will have 2nd season syndrome and walterstown/kells/oldcastle for relegation.

For outright honor's I'd have to go with o'mahonys but as we all know they seem to get caught on the hop around q final or semi final stage most years..maybe major underachievers don'ash will be the team to watch this year..group A is a very tough group kells first year back senior a bit unlucky to be in there but I know there moving very well in training and will stay up no bother plenty of pace in there forward line might see them cause a few upsets..walterstown or oldcastle for the drop
