I was having a look at it 12 Junior Clubs and 6 second team. Any chance they put the 6 second teams in the 1 group think it be a fair way to do it

After looking at the draw it still doesn't appear there's a team you can actually say are stand out favourites! Bective marginally maybe but how mamy times have we heard that in the last few years....

Junior grade not as strong as a couple of years ago due to the promotion of two teams instead of one!!! Bective, Cortown are the pick of those left I think.

No junior grade this year is as weak as it will ever be only one go up this year and there is relegation from intermediate so it shud get stronger..however what a chance for bective and cortown the 2 stand out teams left followed by curragha, drumconrath and dunsany..bective should win it but they seem to lose there bottle in the big games..don'ash couple of years ago and dunboyne seconds last year..it's wide open

Every year we see the same teams mentioned as the possible winners of the championship and every year they invariably find themselves knocked out before the championship has even picked up pace. I agree that the junior championship has been weakened by the loss of Ratoath, Don/Ash, Drumbaragh and Kilmainham, but can we please just say every team has a good chance this year instead of pulling out the perennials out of the hat like our Bectives and Currahas teams that have done very little in the junior over the last few years.

I think everyone will feel like they have a great chance which means should be a good championship. Always very entertaining

Meath hill have a few good young lad coming through so wouldn't rule them out as being winners in the next 5 years... Bective, Curraha, Dunboyne and Cortown have to be favourites though. Skryne/Dunshaughlin/Simonstown or Moylagh for relegation playoff

Curraha and Bective I think depending on how the likes of Dunboyne, Summerhill , NOMs 1st teams get on
I think it should be just first teams only in Junior, create a senior B or something similar for the likes of our 2nd teams

Curraha will be there thereabouts
Cortown dark horses, provided they dont lose Coyne or Loughran
Junior gone very weak

I reckon Dunboyne will go very well in JFC this year they have so many young players coming tru. If they get out of a tough group which they should. Curraha are another young and up and coming team but disappointed last year. Cortown will be in the shake up. Bective are always bigged up but I am not sure about them. Dunsany seem to be floundering
Group A Dunboyne Clonard and Drumconrath
Group B Curraha, Cortown and Dunshaughlin
Group C Meath Hill St Brigid and Bective

Cortown are definitely not dark horses they were in a junior semi final last year only to lose to a good drumbaragh team there more like front runners..glenny I can't see dunboyne being as strong as they were last year with berrigan back with there seniors and even with him they had kilmainham there for the taking in junior semi and could'nt get the scores needed kicking some bad wides..bective curragha or cortown ur winner is there..

I think Cortowns best days are behind them, they rely too much on Coyne and Loughran and those boys arent getting any younger
Maybe might have one last sting in the tail though , Bectives to lose

I think Curraha have as good a chance as any of them, Bective are hyped up to the last every year! Cortown seem to have brought a lot of young lads through but this year may be too soon for them

Drumconrath played 3 poor teams and only scraped past 2 of them!
