McEntee's Backroom Team - Bernard Flynn???

Where is Bernard Flynn?? Would he not be a huge addition to Meath management backroom team? Has he excellent insight analysis into the modern game? Has he the ability to gain respect and motivation to the Meath panel? If the answer is yes to the above questions, Where is Bernard Flynn?? I would respectfully suggest that the answer is NO to all three questions. Plus, I doubt very much that he would want to get involved. He has a nice sideline for himself being a professional hurler on the ditch. I would respectfully agree with you, he is currently involved with Mullingar shamrocks, however after a desperate run of defeats other backroom people were brought in to effectively run the coaching etc, . I'm not saying he should be the manager, is there not a role there for motivational influence, be it advisory/mentor, in the peripheral . A player with shrewdness he was, knows how and what it takes o win silverware and if he could instill that into a fraction of the team why not. Here look what happened the last time we took an outside manager in, anyway such talk is nonsense our management team need time and the players need stability, there are far too many good things happening in Meath football right now and there is some great potential on our successful U17/Junior teams, lets focus on that.
