Excited for this game. I know we say every game is important but this has a very defining edge to it for this league campaign

This is going to be an intriguing game no matter the result or outcome.

Two former powers fighting it out for a chance at regaining former glories...

I think it will be tight , phsyical and full of intrigue. A proper Cork Meath game. I'm looking forward to seeing how the team lines up and the shape of the panel. I think two weeks training and Andy's gameplan being a little more clearer should give us an idea of where we really are. I'd expect for the last three games minimum changes and 90% of the championship team being in place.

Unless Andy is planning an ambush and holding his cards way closer to his chest than any of us know.

no one tipping Meath at all here for this one. Hopefully they play with a bit of freedom and go at it from the start. We need to be ramping things up big style and get settle and a consistent style of play. Lenihan needs to kick on and i would expect to see a big game from Biggy. Some poster going on about Newman and i hope it is not the case. We seriously need a 90%+ accurate free taker and we dont have one at the moment which is going to be a nightmare. If you are training 6 nights a week how can you should have a 90%+ taker.

I taught the one against Galway was the most important game to win especially after the way we lost against Down. I would hate to heading to Cork with just 2 points. But as it is we are in good enough shape heading in to this one.

Its a big one all right, loose and we are back in trouble, win gives us slim hope of promotion. Cork hurlers got their act together last Sunday so pressure on footballers to do the same.

Lets say it how it is and stop making excuses for a defeat, Cork football is at an all time low and anything other than a win for Meath will be a big disappointment

Id agree the Galway game was a must win. And we did.
However I feel this is more defining, win and promotion is definitely on, lose and we out of race, I think we will beat Fermanagh at home, it would be great to be heading to Ennis with strong promotion hopes. That's why I think it's defining game.
It's 50/50. Make no mistake cork are hurting after getting beat by Clare, what better way to heal the hurt than beating their old enemy (apart from Kerry I think they hate Meath most) it would keep the fans at bay for awhile.

We are in with a great chance if we can break even around midfield

Pity the game is not on tv but I expect big Meath support to travel as always. Midfield will be crucial we. break even. Win this and promotion is on. I expect us to beat Fermanagh and Clare with the impetus a win against Cork on the road would give us. Up the Royal
