There would be a logic for Andy to start the same 15 that finished against Kildare..Why not?

Two mid tier teams so shouldn't be a lot in it. Home advantage might sneak it for Meath

Good lad thanks for your observation. Now run along and try to.figure out how Kildare can get beat by less than 16 points this time by dubs

dont get carried away Kildare fan your only 70 minutes away from getting a bad beating of Dublin and just because you beat meath your still a mid table team yourselves

Excellent post. And not a word about Donegal from pundits. All about Meath.

Touchy. Fair observation I thought seen as your a division 2 side for last few years and Sligo have been between there and division 3. We'll worry about the final when it comes around, nice problem to have all the same

Replying To OLLIE:  "I used to go to O Flaherty's pub. It was a grand pub. It is now called the Bru house. It's all craft beer. Not mad in to it but across the road is Fitzsimons. A good Meath/Navan O Mahoney's pub. Others you could try is Ryans, the Royal Meath or the Central."
Fulham's is the best spot in Navan for a scoop

Be interesting to see how we regroup on Saturday week, one thing's for sure, we can't go into the game assuming victory just because we're playing a div3 team at home, we just don't have the form to back up such confidence.

The game v Kildare was a washout, it's frightening to watch back, we were completely destroyed, it was never a contest. I just hope this hasn't effected the players confidence too much, I hope they're bursting to get back out on the field and restore some pride.

Sligo look the definition of inconsistancy....lost to offaly and Antrim then drew with Armagh and bet tipp for example. If they want too and are let play they are dangerous. Yee didn't heed when I said kildare will give us a "trimming ".... please heed me now

Hard to call this one on after the hammering we got from Kildare. I still think we just don't have the players in the county but we should be playing better stuff then we did. Our play has become to predictable with just giving the ball to Reilly , COS or Wallace and running at players. need to change it up have two big forwards Lenihan and maybe Tobin . Menton should be our NO6 and maybe bring in Flanagan Toher and Jones around the middle.

He wasn't been touchy at all, perfectly good response to your post especially as it was generally agreed beforehand that there was very little in it. Why don't you try and stick to your own site and in your spare time enjoy the sunshine.

Douglas is mentioned very little here on these boards. he seems to have been given very little opportunity under Andy yet is still on the panel. I reckon he could do something different linking play around the middle. 2 minutes at the end of a dead rubber last week was pretty pathetic. This is the game to try a couple of different approaches or , when we come up against stronger teams again, the same is going to happen.

Einstein, I think, once said that the definition of insanity is continuing to do the same things and to expect different results. That's why I would like to see this or similar change to our approach / tactics.

Not sure where Menton at 6 is coming from by a few people??? Not that I don't he wouldn't do well there but he rarely ever played there, his best half back position is on the wing as he is a powerful ball carrier and is also fit enough to get up and down the pitch, putting him at 6 where he has to hold the position and not wander takes away from his better attributes in my opinion

the only thing dangerous about sligo is the roads so because you were right about Kildare dont let it go to your head and instead of I told you so get behind the team
