When your team is ten points up and dominating , you don't revert to a holding defensive role . Like has happened . You let loose the hounds , you ask your players to go for the jugler . You tell them that they are the better team and that their first half display proves it . You don't , say ok guys we're 10 points up , now we're going to hold things , , I'm going to take off one of my better forwards , and start sweeping . What message is that sending to a team that are up for it . Management got that one wrong . They asked them to sit on a lead instead of extending it"
agree 100%.

Look we have the players to beat any team in ireland never mind Dublin ..should never allow any team to take their foot of the gas !

But look this time last year it was happy days after beating Dublin,Furst(first) game we played we beat Laois..second game we beat Dublin..semi final lost a tough outing to kildare and season over, who gets to the leinster final ? Laois who we beat in the first game!

Really didn't matter who won yesterday ...extra games always benefits young lads!

Actually yesterday could be that valuable lesson that just might give use that edge .. don't give a sucker an even chance !

I don't who was taken off as a sacrifice forward in lieu of a defender ????

One central defender was totally out played and no change man was the biggest problem. Line was really navieve in basics of winning a game I blame them not the players

It would have been nice to beat the Dubs but at the end of the day it's not the end of the world, we have a 2nd chance and if they learn the lessons from this defeat it may work in Meath's favor in the longer term. Disappointed with Coyle though for letting this happen again, surely 5 pts up with 4/5 mins to go the direction from the line should be to stop a goal at all costs.

It was quite incredible watching this game. There was no way you'd give Dublin a snowballs chance in the 2nd half considering how much Meath had dominated the first. To then see a Meath team do the complete opposite of what they were doing for the 2nd half was quite unbelievable. It's not as if this was the first time we'd seen something like this. A grand total of 3 points in 50mins, none from play sums it up. You could make the argument that the ref didn't play advantage and disallowed a goal or the penalty not given, but in reality blowing a 10 point lead in that fashion shows a complete lack of understanding on how to get the job done. Credit to Dublin, they made a couple of good subs, upped the physicality and got the result.

Maybe Dublin changed their system at HT.

Strange one. Colm seemed to do a total turn around in second half, 30 minutes in minors is a long time, should have kept pushing then with 10 mins left go defensive.

0-6 to 0-4 up at half time but played with a massive wind. I would be hugely shocked if they win this

seriously disappointing and again not sure what management were doing, they learnt nothing from the defeat to dublin. walsh out to middle in 2nd half again? shocking.
this leinster campaign is all down to coyler..

Coyle was poor but players are not there. Few really really good players but there are a lot of lads on that team not up to much or with glaring flaws. Not much in the bench. I hope this teaches some clowns on this page to not hype up you d lads so much. Far too unpredictable and now we are left with egg on our face

yet we were flying in the minor league(yes a bit different) and dublin first half. management changed tactics 2nd half and it went wrong from there. bringing walsh out to midfield again...
still think this team was easily good enough to make the final.

some good coaches bringing lads through on the dev squads, but later they get replaced by the lad with all-ireland medals..
