Championship Predictions

Dunboyne v dunsaughlin was a slow burner dunboyne deserved it in the end don/ash v rathkenny exciting encounter some great scores from both sides. don-ash backed off in the last 10 mins they committed two black card offenses which probably saved them. Ratoath v na fianna best game of the 3 Ratoath opened very lively but couldn't shake na fianna off penalty incident probably game changer linesman 100% correct to change refs decision on the black card sending off defender instead of keeper who then saved the peno but Ratoath deserved the win as finished stronger after na fianna defender sent off

I'm hearing that there's gonna be no more Championship now until August? So much for McEntee and co not interfering with the club championship.....! It's time the club player was treated with a bit of respect.

Simonstown only won 1 game in Group in SFC last year

They scored 2-1 in injury time apparently. Just shows you that league form counts for nothing

Would anyone on here have good knowledge of the Meath club scene?? I run a small tipping group - well-run, organised, a bit of a craic, we win a few bob too. If you are interested send a message to GAA - For Club and County on Facebook and I'll add you to my group. Thanks and good luck v Louth.

Simonstown beat Na Fianna well in the group last year in the final round of games from what I remember. Na Fianna were already qualified at the time.

They beat Dunshaughlin by a point in the first round and easily beat Na Fianna in the final round.

Does coming on as a blood sub not count as having played in championship?

I see Kells had a fella come on in their Senior game as a blood sub and score a goal. He then started for their Junior Bs in their opening game. Surely a blood sub still counts?

In theory you could come on as a blood sub after 5 minutes in a senior game, finish out the game and still line out for your second team in their next match

Yes it seems strange that this could happen . I would have thought that if you played any part of Senior championship game you should not be allowed to play Junior . It seems very unfair of happens. Kind feel sorry for some of the
other Junior panel members

The facts are that they drew with Tones in first round, Lost to Moynalvey next, Drew with O Mahoneys next then beat Dunshaughlin and in final game hammered Na Fianna

I was looking at Na Fianna's result in the first round........
You're right about drawing with Tones. But they beat Dunshaughlin and Na Fianna in their last two games of the group and qualified in second place.

Come on lads just because he scored a crucial goal thats the only reason were even talkin about this , end of the day he only played a few mins senior an should not of been out of junior for the whole year, chances are after his scoring this weekend he'l be playing senior the nxt day although i believe he is quite a loss cannon
