Replying To MarkMyWords:  "Yep, and a lot of the smaller issues will hopefully be ironed out over the next few weeks. Didn't think we were too bad at all but as I said, very frustrating that we didn't put it to bed.

Jones was involved a bit last year but he didn't get a proper run at it. For his age, 19/20 I think, he's extremely well built physically so isn't lacking in that dept. He's very mobile and can play ball. Made several surges through the middle in both challenge games and clocked up a few scores. Seems a clever lad too, finds himself in the right places to mop up ball which can sometimes go unnoticed. Early days of course and it's the first I've really seen of him but hopefully he'll continue to grow into the role"
yeah he and menton are mobile, could be a good partnership

The semi for Louth/Wicklow/Meath v Laois/Longford/Kildare is down as being a single match in Croke Park. Seems odd given that crowd would get lost in CP. Days of Meath V Kildare sending 40-50K to CP are long gone.

Brilliant. Exactly what we need. We will beat Dublin again...so why can't it be this year?

I will say I wouldn't be looking beyond the first game but there's no reason we can't win a Leinster

Yep great to see. Now perhaps some of my county fellow fans will stop having a hissy fit everytime I say similar on main forum. I'm called "hyping up" team , and the best one is ill be left with egg on my face, I don't give a rats ### what I have in my face , by Jesus I will back this team with the same enthusiasm and loyalty as I have every other one. I wont dare think we can be beat. Andy has the right attitude, lets all everyone get behind him and the players, I dont care if you loved mod, time has moved on, get behind the county team, don't be back biting about them (31 other counties will do enough of that) grab the flags, or whatever from the attic and lets start a journey as if we will win all Ireland. Jesus I cant wait for June the 4th.

I wouldn't expect any less from Andy, he's an ambitious and determined character, loads of work still to do before even reaching a leinster final but it's good to see our manager in fighting form.

no bother with you hyping up the seniors, especially on our forum. Hyping up our minors on the national forum is a different story

I don't believe either was hyping up, I believe it is supporting, but lets move on to the real dish. The main course as to say :)

Banty or sorry Andy should worry about Louth before he starts shouting about the Dubs! Great to see ambition but that's the team talk sorted for Louth who we have absolutely no right to look past.

It looks as though Andy was asked the question about the Dubs and he answered the question which I believe is perfectly correct.

had he been having an interview about playing the winners of Louth / Wicklow in the lead up to the match and diverted himself to talking about beating the Dubs then that would have been wrong and arrogant. But it's not and we have to be happy that we have a straight talking manager. Not perfect who is?

Is there any more challenges lined up for before the championship? Within the county preferably?

Would like to know that too. I hear there was/is one scheduled with Kerry, but behind closed doors. Anyone know if this is accurate or no?
