Replying To LeitrimRoyal99:  "I am with you on MOD and believing fully in Andy. But saying we shouldn't go to a match if we think Meath will lose is a joke. I have realism. We aren't going to win the All Ireland and we have to accept that. One step at a time. Think of the cute Kerry hooers that play down their team at every chance and it didn't hurt them. Being very loud and shouting about how good your team is is both childish and Dubish. I thought our supporters were more knowledgeable than this"
Look as I said I have never gone to a game expecting to be beat. Maybe I am.the only one, but should we get over kildare to face dubs, I will convince myself and anyone else that I can, that Meath will win.
That's just me. I've been same all my life. Ain't going to change now.

If same team starts there will have to be changes to half backs alot of lads have heads in the clouds as regards where we are we gave louth 5 goal chances 3 of which were scored being wide open down the middle have been a proplem for years now and its going to take more than a few games to solve kildare are very similar to ourselfs they have been bad for years but now seem to be going in right direction they are strong in mid field where we are not tested with new partnership and no real opions if we start to lose that battle still no center back imo keoghan is class but noht no6 burke is a lion gives it everything but not a corner back o sullivan at 11 well he has pace but went missing against louth as did wallace these are things you cant ignor or asume will be corrected at training positives are we are fitter more positive and have serious pace this will be tight and both teams will gain from it hart says andy to show us what we have been waiting for that never say die attitude is back meath by 2 points

Look , best of luck to the Meath Team tomorrow , as Andy said before Louth , the next game is critical . I hope they put one over Kildare , it will be a real indication of progress . Which we could all do with .

Very happy with team. One thing we're getting with Andy is consistency...consistent team selection and consistent performances.

No chopping or changing. He knows his best team selection and sticks with it.

Lads know what they have to do individually and collectively.

I don't think Andy is going to tinker much with the team unless there are injuries.

I will be surprised if team named is the team that will starts
I think power comes in for keoghan at 6 and keoghan goes back to 2or 4 and Micky Burke misses out
Also James mcentee in for Eamon Wallace

Biggest concern tomorrow is undoubtedly midfield, despite people thinking its Mickey Burke, Kildare won everyone of their own kickouts v laois, l incredible stat, Jones and Menton are very undersized compared to moolick and feely who are both outstanding

midfield isn't about the 4 midfielders though,it is about the section of the field. but i do agree feely in particular is outstanding. menton though has got better at the position, jones is good but has only had one proper champ game,be interesting to see how he does tomorrow.

Agree Jones is very exciting but still very raw, Menton has improved dramatically in midfield but feely and moolick are different class, we really have to pack the middle and prevent any clean catches

Wouldn't drop Burke, definitely in the top 5 that played last day, not convinced with power yet and I doubt Andy will start him.

Not sure how you make that out ? As Keoghan Mc gill Tobin was about the only line that had any consistency during the league now. Then he changes keoghan to 6 for the Louth game. Not saying weather its right or wrong just making that a point. If I am am honest I think Power might have injured the last day and maybe Andy was thinking keoghan was the best option at 6.

Well the day has arrived and I can't wait to see this game as I think this will be a real measure of where we are at and just how much Andy has changed in this teams mindset . Few things are worrying me greatly since the Louth game and sticking with the same team .
1.midfeild : while jones looks the real deal today he can't wait till the last 20 to show up as I don't see Kildare titre out as quick as Louth .
2 . Kick outs , paddy has to change it up or else go really long to bypass midfeild and we push up on Kildare and not let them get momentum around the middle , crowd them out behind there midfeild .
3. Defence . We all know how open we looked against Louth , well Kildare will be a whole different ball game .
Keoghan is with out doubt the best man marker we have but is not a centre back , harnan while better suited tends to leave the middle open and while I am not a fan of power when he plays there we don't concede goals ( 1 v down was from a placed ball ) I think he was gone off when Clare scored . What's the story with him ? Is he injured , also the wing forwards will have to work really hard up and down so both Roger and Wallace need to work much harder then they did last time out , but bring it on Cant wait !!

Not sure why so many posters assume power was injured in the last game, I'm still very unconvinced by him as an inter county player. Your half back line in the modern game is one of your most important lines in term of setting up attacks and let's be honest keoghan is better footballer than power so it makes sense to me.

I don't see any reason why Andy would make any changes before the game, unless injury.

As some posters have already stated I'm very excited/nervous about the midfield battle should be very interesting! HON THE ROYAL
