Blackhall will do well to win a match in SFC

The Tones /Don Ash match today was edge of seat stuff, with Don/Ash leading by 4 points with about 3 minutes left and tones scoring 1-1 to level, entertaining end to end stuff on a good day

Ashbourne got what they deserved after trying to play keep ball with 7 mins remaining. Sign of a side low in confidence in their own ability......

to say that they have no chance is stupid.

Skryne could be in danger if last night is anything to go by. They were atrocious against Dunboyne even though Dunboyne never got out of first gear for most of the game.

It will be between themselves and Duleek for relegation IMO, They looked good for the first half and then just died in the second, I thik they will not win a game in the group tbh.

And on the opposite end I can only see the winners coming from one of Dunboyne, Ratoath or Simonstown based on performances so far!! All three teams missing players and still winning both games with relative ease (I know Simonstown only bet the Cilles by a point but by all accounts could have won by more IMO)

Judging by your comments your are obviously new to senior championship football. How may Keeghan cups have the 3 teams you have listed won between them?

Unless Skryne win at least two of their last three games (can't see that happening), Pat's won't finish bottom of their group.

Judging by your comments your obviously not up to scratch on football or sport in general!!! What difference does it make on how many they have won in the past?? How many had Simonstown won before last year?? The answer is 0. How many times had Westmeath beaten Meath in the Championship before 2015?? Again the answer is 0. How many Premier league titles had Man City won before 11/12 season?? I'll give ya a hint, its less than 1........its 0. I could go on....

Predictions for this year are based on current form not past accomplishments. Name a better team on form at the minute than the 3 I have picked. If you think any other team will win it this year then thats your opinion and your entitled to it but to base it purely on the fact that because they only have 3 Keegan Cups between them is ridiculous, especially seeing as Ratoath are only in their second year in the competition.

It is between Ratoath and Simonstown this year in my opinion but it wont be easy as they could both be beaten on there day if they are not 100% tuned in. The likes of Summerhill, O'Mahonys, Dunboyne, Wolfe Tones and Donaghmore/Ashbourne should all be knocking around the knockout stages and anyone could be anyone then. I really do like the look of Ratoath this year though, there pace and power throughout the team is impressive and with 7-8 inter county players in there starting 15 and an ex Monaghan goal keeper they certainly have the quality players to do it. They have a new management team this year and also there they have a deeper squad this year compared to previous years. I would expect Duleek/Bellewstown to make the drop based on current form as there results in league and championship have been awful of late. I cant see Skryne winning a game in the remainder of the group stages as they still have to play Ratoath, Na Fianna and Dunshaughlin. Blackhall gaels will be the third team involved in that scrap. If Skryne were to end up in that predicament on low confidence I would not be surprised to see them struggle or even go down which would be an absolute un thinkable disaster for that club.

Personally think Kilbride have a great chance going by their 5 Keegan Cups. Two more than those three teams combined.
Sure that's how it works, don't you know?

Our chances depend a lot on our injury situation. We're missing McMahon and J Wallace while Cian O'Brien's injury did not look good. I think Gavin McGowan should be back from the US soon but his brother Jack appeared to suffer a bad shoulder/collarbone injury on Friday.
Dunboyne, Simonstown and NOM will be there or thereabouts. Summerhill aren't a bad bet either.
