Now that the dust has settled on Saturdays wonderful win , I would like to say this year has been a roller Coster of a year, a bad league and then we beat the lard out of Wicklow, Beat London in their back yard,Beat Kildare in Newbridge and then the epic matches against Antrim over the last 3 weeks. As a fan it was unbelievable stuff as nobody but nobody gave Meath hurlers a chance of winning The Ring Cup but this bunch of lads pulled out all the stops in presuit of glory. The all have to be congratulated for the efforts and for the joy they all brought us the fans of Meath hurling Since the 23rd of April. I was blessed to be in Dunganny last Thursday's whe the management opened up the session to the kids of the county , my two sons had their jerseys signed by all the players and they had them on on Saturday again. Infact their mother is getting it hard to get them off them to wash them .
From the bottom of my heart I would like to say "Thanks for the memories lads, they will never be forgotten"
