We'll Graham no offense now but the answer is simple, I like both hurling and football equally but there is no comparison to them at the moment to be quite honest today when the hurling match was over and now to be fair today's game was bad in the hurling but the minute it was over the world cup went on, hopefully the super 8s will bring us some good stuff but I not sure otherlad (Meath) - Posts: 137 - 17/06/2018 19:36:36 2112378 Link 0 |
i agree...i find myself lately switching the TV from Gaa football to ancient aliens on the discovery channel to a documentary on the Boer war on bbc! Even the add breaks of a bunny rabbit singing a dancing about toilet paper is more amusing than gaelic football at this present time ....................................sadly

The monaghan and Fermanagh game was the worst football match I have ever seen with the meath v tyrone game slightly better in terms of the teams taking a gamble. football is not interesting anymore as teams are not willing to risk kicking the ball and risking a 50/50 challenge. its dour stuff at the moment and is very hard to watch. There are only nine hurling games left in the championship and I cannot see two of them, the preliminary q finals being televised. When the football super 8s start it will be wall to wall football and GG's hurling equivalents will not be too pleased then. And it is hard to blame them either as it is equally hard to blame their football counterparts at the moment. MillerX (Meath) - Posts: 1058 - 18/06/2018 10:04:24 2112534 Link 0 |
