Has the process for this been outlined ? Given that there are 8 second strings already there and the possibility of another coming up from Junior B I assume (foolishly maybe) that there is something set out in advance ??

So possibly next seasons Junior A will be a group of 5, a group of 6 and a group of 9.......that makes sense

You haven't been following the recent trends. Meath CB apply a 'make it up as we go along' mandate.

It was brought up at last Co.Board meeting when approving Jun A & B competitions would it be sensible to look at relegation numbers for Jun A (with the increased numbers in divisions) when passing new Jun A groupings......... as a similar Simonstown/ O'Mahonys appeal would leave any impromptu increase in relegation numbers open ...which means that it would be 2 years before the division numbers could be changed again....Year 1 to change the regulation and Year 2 to play the changed competition to see what teams are relegated. Believe the thinking is that Super 8 and changes from Croke Park will supercede in all counties before any internal county changes would be effected.

So what you are saying is that the Meath Board are waiting to see what the GAA will do with the quarter-finals of the All-Ireland county championship, before deciding what they will do with relegation from Junior A of the Meath club championship?

That sad thing is that that is completely believable!

That is rubbish meath gaa from what I heard said are waiting to see what shape the super 8 will take and that starts with April. Will there be a window for club championship between end of league and start of Leinster championship as CPA and some counties like meath need.
I reckon there will be simply because Dublin need the window also so it will be there
