Slane GAA Club is seeking a new manager and management team to take charge of our adult men's teams in 2018. Slane's first team will be playing in the Junior B Championship and Division 4 of the League.
Slane narrowly missed out on promotion to Division 3 of the league in 2017, losing only once in 10 games in the regulation season, and has also suffered narrow defeats in the last three championship semi-finals. The management team would be expected to buld on the progress made in the last four years and work to bring the team to the next level.
The new manager will report to the club's executive committee and the club expects to nominate a liaison officer from the executive to facilitate that process.
Role Objective:
To win the Junior B Championship
To secure promotion to Division 3
The successful candidate is expected to:
Produce and deliver a high quality coaching programme that maximizes player participation, conditioning, skill development and performance.
Provide a detailed training plan for the year which will be expected to be in harmony with the typical fixtures calendar in Meath
Attend all team training sessions and matches
As Slane has a number of players now starting to come through to the adult ranks from underage, a plan to seamlessly integrate them into the squad will be needed
Maintain attendance records for training and matches

Provide updates on team progress on a monthly basis to the executive committee
Provide a cost-effective plan with estimated budget for team expenses for 2018
