Camogie: Dunderry and Ratoath must meet again

Dunderry's Aoife Minogue gets away from Aine Cooke Ratoath during the Meath Intermediate camogie final at Trim

Dunderry and Ratoath will have to do it all over again after this very exciting draw at Lomans Park Trim.

With some county players on board for both teams, it was a scoring performance from Dunderry's Aoife Minogue that caught the eye in the opening 15 minutes. The county star hit 2-2 as Dunderry went in at the break four points up, 2-2 to 0-4. Player of the match in the All Ireland replay, Amy Gaffney, was first on the score board for Rataoth and she was ably assisted by Naimh Mcloughlin with 3 points from play.

Dunderry keeper Colette Rowan made some brilliant blocks in the second half to keep her team in the game while at the other end Ratoath centre back Aine Cooke was in brilliant form. Minogue grabbed another 1-1 in the second half with Ratoath scores coming from Anna Brannigan and Niamh Mclouhglin as both teams played out a very exciting draw.
