Castletown bowed out of this years JCFC with a defeat to Seneschalstown in Syddan on Thursday evening. Castletown made the better start and were three points up after 10 minutes with scores from Jason Ross, Noel Smyth and Robbie Hoey. With Declan Cribbin scoring three points in a row before the break it left Castletown a point to the good at halftime 0-6 to 0-5.
The early stages if the second half was point for point and on the 52nd minute a mix up in the Castletown defence let Seneschalstown in for the only goal of the game to lead by two points. Despite the losers scoring two more points to finish the half it just wasn't to be for them on the night. Castletown's second half scores came from Robbie Hoey, Andrew Kenny, Ciaran Weldon and Jamie Mc Mahon with one point each.
