Wolfe Tones 0-19 Dunshaughlin 0-10

Wolfe Tones came away from Dunshaughlin with both points in this B FL Division 1 encounter

The teams were level on 0-5 each after the first quarter after which Tones added 7 without reply to open up a commanding lead and were never threatened afterwards. Playing against the wind Tones had a couple of early goal chances which they failed to convert but when they found their rhythm they added 7 points from the 27th minute to the 34th minute of the first half.

With the aid of the wind Tones were comfortable winners despite 10 second half wides. Substitute Brughach O Fionnagáin marked his return from a lingering injury with a fine second half point.
