Wolfe Tones 3-15 Summerhill 4-8

Summerhill lost their first game in the Teach Na Teamhrach JFC when coming up short against Wolfe Tones in Trim on Thursday night. 

In what was a very entertaining and well contested game the for the 'hill side scored four well taken goals, a hat-trick for Conor Frayne and one for Diarmuid McCabe, but, they weren't enough to get past the Tones who shot a goal and two points five minutes from the end to end the hopes of Summerhill getting their third win in Group C.

Saran O Fionnagáin also bagged three goals for the Tones.

Next up for Summerhill is Dunshaughlin on Wednesday next in Moynalvey at 8.0.
