Kilskyre-Moylagh on the double with back to back wins in the  Junior and Intermediate hurling championship.

Junior 

Kilskyre-Moylagh 0-13 Drumree 0-3

This match kicked off at 12pm in the hot mid day sun and it was Drumree that got off to the brighter start taking an early lead by three points to one after ten minutes.

But from that point on it was all Kilskyre-Moylagh who kept Drumree scoreless for the rest of the match.

A super performance from the energetic Kilmainhan man Ger Morgan getting four points from play coupled with well taken frees from James O'Higgins in a dominant midfield with Killian McCaffrey. The introduction of Niall Geraghty added a bit of class to the Kilskyre-Moylagh forwards and that was reflected with his three smart points from play.

Kilskyre-Moylagh 2-17 Rathmolyon 1-16

A match that was predicted to be tight and a hard fought victory whoever came out on top and it lived up to its expectations.  In searing heat both sides provided a high scoring highly entertaining match which Kilskyre-Moylagh came out on top in the end.

Solid performances from the Geraghty brothers and Joe Melia gave Kilskyre-Moylagh the platform they needed to 'eek' out this victory in a match where Rathmolyon never gave up even when you thought Kilskyre-Moylagh might pull away.

Kilskyre-Moylagh took some lovely points from play with Eanna Brody and Jack Tunney on form alongside the every reliable and hard working Tomas Nugent.
