Clann na nGael kept their good recent run going with this win in Athboy Saturday.
Clann Na nGael 2-13 Dunsany 1-10
Dunsany scored the first point but Clann na nGael replied with points from Darragh o Griofa and Darren Kelly and a Caoimhin O Griofa goal to establish a lead which they never subsequently relinquished. They lead by 5 points at the break 1-6 to 0-4.
The second half began with a couple of Dunsany points but Clann na nGael responded well with Eamonn o Donnachada scoring 7 points on the trot.
A Gary Hanley goal seemed to seal the result with 5 minutes left putting his side ahead by 9 points ahead but a late Dunsany goal saw the Clann na nGael lead cut to 6 points.
Clann na nGael held out to win and will face Oldcastle next Friday with both teams near the top of the Division.
