Na Fianna 2-10 Ratoath 2-14

A depleted Na Fianna side battled to the end on Friday evening in Ratoath but came up just short in the end, as they concluded their U19 FL Div 1 campaign.

Minus the services of numerous players through County commitments and injuries, Na Fianna fielded only fourteen players under the fair-play rules. U16 players Daire Slattery and Ciaran Keogh were drafted in and both gave excellent performances. Slattery netted a well worked goal in the first half after a good run from Ronan Byrne placed Slattery through on goals.

Na Fianna ran out of steam in the second half, with an influx of substitutions from Ratoath giving them fresh legs needed to overcome a resilient Na Fianna side.

Na Fianna had excellent performances from Owen McDonnell, Oisin Coffey, Kevin Coffey, Ethan Devine, Ciaran Keogh and Daire Slattery.

Na Fianna: Connor Heffernan, Owen McDonnell, Oisin Coffey, Kevin Coffey, Oran Smullen (0-1), Ciaran Keogh, Cian Slattery, Ethan Devine (0-3), Ronan Byrne (1-01), Jack McNally (0-5, 2f), Michéal Keogh, David Maher, Sean Rafferty, Daire Slattery (1-0)
