HL Div 4: Ratoath continue unbeaten run
Ratoath 1-15 Na Fianna 0-11
Ratoath second's remain unbeaten after last night's game versus Na Fianna in Enfield.
Playing in to the wind on an unseasonally cold evening Ratoath kept in touch with their opponents throughout the first half. While they trailed by three points to six at half time, they could have been closer or perhaps ahead if it wasn't for the large number of wides from Ratoath.
Playing with the wind behind them in the second half, Ratoath took some time to settle however when Ger O'Donogue hit three consecutive points without reply midway through the second half, the dye was cast for a Ratoath win in a game that never seemed to spark into action.
While Na Fianna did rally in the last 10 minutes, the Ratoath backline were up to everything that was thrown at them.
Best for Ratoath were Ger O'Donoghue, Keelin Fahy and Donal McLarnon.
