Meath GAA PRO Martin O'Halloran is set to be unveiled as the new Public Relations Officer for Leinster Council at the provincial association's annual congress in Mount Wolseley Hotel, Carlow on Saturday.

Rathmolyon man O'Halloran is in his final year as Meath PRO having already served four terms and will see out his final year. O'Halloran has enjoyed a hugely successful spell which earned him four awards for his match programmes and also saw him grow the social media aspect and profile of Meath GAA enormously.

O'Halloran was Hurling Board PRO back in the 1990s and was elected at Co Board PRO in 2013. He has also been part of the PR and Marketing Committee in Leinster Council for a couple of years, while also on the IT Committee in Croke Park.

O'Halloran will be elected unopposed at Saturday's convention.
