As the Meath minor hurlers continue their preparation for this year's Leinster  MHL and championship the management team have announced the appointment of Jamie Leavy as captain for the upcoming campaign. 

The Dunderry man who will play senior club hurling this year has been involved with this group of players since Under 14. 

Jamie was one of the star performers last year as Trim claimed the Meath Minor hurling championship crown after a replay.

The Dunderry star was part of the Meath Under 17 and minor squads last year. The minors lost out to Kerry in the All Ireland B final.

Under the guidance of new manager Nick Fitzgerald Meath open their Leinster Minor Hurling League campaign at home to Roscommon on March 11th.
