New St. Ultans manager Padraig Coyle

St Ultans GFC are delighted to announce Padraig Coyle as first team manager for 2017. The Seneschalstown native was ratified Wednesday evening in the Martry clubrooms. His management team is still to be confirmed but both parties are hoping to get to work as soon as possible,

"To get a manager of Padraig's experience is a great result for our club. Obviously 2016 was a disappointing year on the field for us. However we're very confident that Padraig is the right man to help us turn things around. The whole club is backing him and want to wish him well for the year ahead," said David Ball, St Ultans Secretary.

Padraig has previously managed Seneschalstown and Mattock Rangers in Louth. Perhaps his greatest success came when managing Clan na Gael in Meath, 2007. They won the County Junior Championship and went on to win the Leinster Championship.

St Ultans will be starting the year in division three in the league. Hoping to get a few early wins, to set the tone for the rest of the year continuing into the 2017 intermediate championship.
