Ratoath's Darragh Kelly

Meath hurlers and footballers have received a boost following the news that Ratoath dual player Darragh Kelly is returning to the county.

Kelly was an integral part of the Ratoath side that won this year's IHC title and lines out at midfield for the club's footballers.

Having switched his allegiance to Dublin three years ago, Kelly was part of the Dubs' minor side that reached the 2014 Leinster final.

hoganstand.com has been informed that the talented dual star has opted to switch his allegiance back to the Royal County.

The 20-year-old could well be involved in four Meath squads next year, senior hurling and football as well as under-21 hurling and football, although in the modern game that may not be practical.
