Schools: Boyerstown come good in the second half

A second half rally saw Boyerstown National School crowned Allianz Meath Cumann Na mBunscol Division 4 hurling champions in the second game at Trim.

Robinstown held a 1-1 to 0-0 interval lead thanks to a well taken goal from Cian Bell. Boyerstown failed to score in the opening 15 minutes but they created good chances that they took in the early stages of the second half. 

A free from Jamie Duffy found its way to the Robinstown net to level the game and minutes later joint captain Liam Rattigan had the boys in Green and Gold in front with another goal. William Tracey got the game's first point to extend their lead. Oisin Heffernan raised a white flag for Robinstown to narrow the gap but it was Boyerstown who held on to claim their first hurling title since 2007.

After the game Boyerstown joint captains Liam Rattigan and William Treacy were presented with the Division 4 hurling cup.
