After the heartbreak of losing last June's final to St Dympna's Kildalkey Gaelscoil Na Boinne finally got their hands on the Allianz Meath Cumann Na mBunscol Division 2 camogie title with this comfortable win over Gaelscoil Eanna at Trim.

Gaelscoil Na Boinne got a perfect start with a goal from Grace Ni Chonghaile and a point from her twin sister Katie Ni Ni Chonghaile. The Navan school replied with a goal of their own when Isibeil Ni Chonchuir's shot was deflected to the Trim net. But that as good as it got for Gaelscoil Eanna as the girls in red and white went on to dominate proceedings. The Ni Chonghaile girls shared 2-3 in the last ten minutes to give their school a commanding 3-4 to 1-0 interval lead.

The second half was a low scoring affair and again Katie and Grace Ni Chonghaile were to the fore as they sent over two points each to ensure a first ever camogie title for the Trim school.
