Well done to the Meath hurling team, especially our own David Reilly & Josh Wall, who defeated Kerry today on a score line of 1-21 to 1-12 to reach the All Ireland U21 B Hurling Final.

 

An outstanding performance from David who was solid throughout in defence & chipped in with a well take point in the 2nd half. They will face Mayo in the final on Saturday 10th September in the Semple Stadium Thurles.

 

***SPONSORED CYCLE 2016***

 

Drumree GAA are hosting their 4th Annual Sponsored Cycle, this year making its way to Carlow on Saturday October 22nd.

 

Following on from the success of the last 3 years we are now looking for men & women for this year's 100km trip ! Anyone who took part last year will agree that it was a brilliant weekend & one that was talked about for many weeks after !

 

We are asking for each cyclist that takes part in the 100km cycle to raise a minimum of €250 in sponsorship & for those sharing a bike & completing 50km each the target is a minimum of €400 per bike. For this each cyclist will get an overnight stay in a 4* hotel & leisure centre in Carlow with dinner & breakfast included. A bus will collect all cyclist & bikes the following morning and bring them back to Drumree.
