Moynalty 3-14, Wolfe Tones 1-05

Moynalty became the first adult team to reach a championship decider with this comfortable win over Wolfe Tones in the Junior D semi final played before a large crowd in Carlanstown.

Wolfe Tones opened scoring but the winners replied with two Stephen Blackburn points along with goals from Paddy Byrne and Cathal Reilly. The Tones battle back and there was only a goal in it at the break Moynalty 2-04 Wolfe Tones 1-04.

The second half was completly dominated by Moynalty. Wolfe Tones were held  to one point, while the 'Tidy Villagers' went on to score a goal and ten points.

Final score Moynalty 3-14, Wolfe Tones 1-05.
