Meath U15 Footballers maintain their winning run in 2016 overcoming Armagh challenge

The Meath U15 footballers encountered Armagh on Sat 23rd July on a fine summer's afternoon in Dunganny. Already this year the Meath U15 footballers have accrued impressive results against Wexford, Westmeath, Cavan and Dublin and again they fielded two sides against the Orchard county aiming to maintain their 100% record in 2016. Armagh for their part had previously played Fermanagh, Donegal, Louth & Monaghan in 2016.

This was the first time this Meath Squad had met Armagh and despite both sides missing a number of players, the Meath lads once again proved the strength in depth of the squad securing 2 wins from their 2 games under the guidance of coaches Joe Treanor, Garret Fitzsimons, Paul Murphy, Paddy Gilsenan, Owen Ganly & Paul Nestor. The lads once again demonstrated strong technical ability, a mean defensive structure, great long and short distance score taking, good decision making, good teamwork, good movement on and off the ball & great workrate throughout the entire squad. Over the course of the 2 games Meath recorded 10:36 scores for while conceding a mere 01:07 against.
